Skin is the largest organ on our body. It protects us from many external influences like water, wind, and sun. Each cosmetic product you find good for improving your skin’s protection might do its work. But, you should know that there are also natural ways of boosting your skin protection. Wanna know more about it? Let’s find out!
Eat Green, Drink Green, Think Green!
Green is one amazing color, isn’t it?! When it comes to green food (fruits and veggies), not only it’s amazing, but it’s also very healthy! The best way to consume green veggies is by making green smoothies, where you can add some spinach, lettuce, broccoli, kale, etc. If you think you might not like the taste, adding some honey would be a great idea! Also, you can make salads from everything green you can find in your fridge. Green veggies are full of antioxidants which help you boosting your skin rptoection and making it resistant to any bad external influence.
Water is Not Only for Swimming!
Summer days are pretty hot and you need to cool down. Diving into the pool is a great idea, but you also need to think of hydrating your body properly during hot days. Drinking a lot of water help you cleanse your skin and make it be more stretchy, but if you add some lemon in it, that’s even better! Not only it’ll taste better, but it also contains vitamin C (oranges and grapefruits do, as well). It also contains antioxidants that help your skin look healthy.
Sweets?! NO, Please!
Sweets are full of sugar which can really endanger the health and the look of your skin. So, it would be really good if you could try to avoid it as much as possible. Yeah, I know, PMS and stuff can be really messy, cause we all consume sweets more then, but why not to try to find healthy replacement? Dark chocolate (70% and more) is great replacement! Or even amazing and rich fruit salad! Yummy! Dark chocolate is known for antioxidants that it contains, which is really great. Not to mention how good, tasty and healthy a fruit salad can be. For a fruit salad you can use any fruit you have: melon, mango, strawberries, blueberries, apples, bananas, etc. And it’s all good, not only for you skin protection, but for your whole body!
Having healthy skin and keeping it that way doesn’t have to be hard. It can be pretty easy! But, believe me, it’s worth all the effort ! So, enjoy!
