WAT? What Ashley Thinks: Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation

I’ve been using Tarte Amazonian Clay full coverage foundation for about a year now. I have tried other full coverage foundations in the past and found that they made my skin look and feel very heavy, and were also damaging to my skin. I love the Tarte foundation because it’s one of the only products I’ve found that gives a full-coverage look while also being lightweight and super easy to blend. It gives the look of clear, glowing skin without looking or feeling too heavy, which is a problem I used to have with previous full coverage foundations. This formula looks very natural and does not crease. Even on days when I find myself having to cover up blemishes I am always happy with the end result, and don’t even feel the need to use too much concealer.

I use the light-medium-natural shade and it matches my skin tone perfectly. A little bit of this product goes a long way and the application is super simple. I apply my foundation in small dots in the center of my face and blend it outwards with a beauty blender. Afterwards, I set it with a powder. The Tarte foundation typically lasts me all day without a primer, and when I take it off at the end of the day it doesn’t leave an oily residue or irritate my skin. The product itself is vegan, hypoallergenic and I love that it also contains SPF 15! Over all I would definitely recommend this foundation to anyone who is looking for a natural looking, full coverage product that is kind to your skin.
