What Do You Need to Know About Morning Routines?
First of all, here’s a question for you: do you have a morning routine?
Morning routines might be boring for some people who just love to deal with unexpected situations. I’m not really one of them. I have a lot of things to do during the day, and I need to be focused and well organized. My morning routine keeps me in a good shape! I know exactly what I have to do in the morning to feel energized and prepared for the day.
The Night Before
Some things can be taken care of the night before, like, for example, your clothes for tomorrow. If you need to iron that white shirt, do it the night before. If you are one of those people who prepare their own meals, prepare that too the night before. That way you’ll save yourself time and you won’t be stressed about it in the morning.
I really love to sleep, and I cherish every moment I can use for that in the morning. But, I usually manage to wake up earlier so that I will have enough time for everything I want to do for myself.
The first thing I do in the morning is drink water. A glass of warm water on empty stomach can do miracle for your body in the morning. After all, your body just spent 8 hours without hydration, so do it a favor and drink that glass of water!
Do you want to feel energized and good in your body? Do the morning stretch! Me, personally, I love to do yoga in the morning. It doesn’t take much time and it makes me feel like I can do anything after it!
Another thing I don’t ever miss in the morning is breakfast. It’s the most important meal of the day. I must admit – I’m a smoothie addict. I love making smoothies in the morning, using all kind of fruits and nuts. And my body loves that, too!
Doing these things in the morning give me enough time and energy to prepare myself for the following day, no matter how busy it can be. There are also some things that you should avoid in the morning, but we’ll leave that for our next article!
